Sarah & Ben: Tuxedo Lake Wedding

Sarah & Ben had a last minute Covid micro wedding at The Tuxedo Club this past September on one of the last warm September days just as the Fall colors were starting to appear. Their orgininaly planned Portugal destination wedding was not meant to be for 2020 but Sarah & Ben made the most of their 2020 union with a small ceremony this past April in Boston and this micro Wedding on Tuxedo Lake. My college roommate had put me in touch with Sarah and Ben who were are both fellow Connecticut College alum. It was so nice especially during the pandemic to have that connection and see familiar faces from years ago.

Pontoon boats awaited the newlyweds and guests post ceremony, where they popped champgane and celebrated on the lake. After the celebratory boat ride a guitartist escorted the couple back to The Tuxedo Club for cocktail hour followed by dancing and a seated outdoor dinner. Adjusting to this year hasn’t been easy but seeing the alterations people have made pay off and the unexpected gifts that come from these changes make everything that much more special. What a gift it was shoot!
