Jenna & Dan: Engagement Shoot at Sagamore Hill

Before I met Jenna & Dan in person we deliberated on possible Long Island locations that could serve as a good backdrop for their engagement shoot. Knowing the North Shore landscape best I had recommended Sagamore Hill in Oyster Bay. After Jenna & Dan took a stroll through Sagamore Hill with their pups to check out the location I was happy to hear they thought it would be a great spot. Sagamore Hill brings together a variety of backdrops including the estate where Theodore Roosevelt spent his Summers, a beachfront, a wooded hiking path, and lush green fields. It was a hard to beat this combination of options in one place and it was such a nice meeting/ shooting spot to capture Jenna & Dan :) I can’t wait to photograph their Brooklyn Botanic Garden wedding!
