Coney Island - All For the Ride

Coney Island Avenue runs all the way from Prospect Park straight to the island. On a hot Summer day it feels like such an accomplishment to bike there, with my bulky camera baby weighing down my hot and heavy backpack. I have done this route about three or four times and have to put together a photo series from these trips. Just as my wedding and portrait photography (www.picturemindedweddings.com) allows me to connect with people I also connect to places and spaces through photography as well. Photographing a place and for myself is a much more peaceful experience while photographing people, weddings, and events is more of a performance that gives me an energetic rush with long lasting benefits and memories.
