My Wedding!: Stephanie & Blake

Blake and I were officially married on 2/14/20, exactly four years to the day we met and had a small wedding celebration the following day with 30 of our closest friends and family at The Castle by Marlow Events. I was thrilled to have Eryc Perez de Tagle , a wedding photographer whose work I had been eyeing for sometime, capture our marriage. Eryc let me edit the photos, a task which is usually so second nature, was a bit more tedious as I found myself more indecisive when it came to editing photos of my own wedding.

The Castle by Marlow Events is located on a lovely sunny corner Red Hook, Brooklyn and we couldn’t have been happier to have chosen them and their space. The food and service were exceptional and they even have a wood burning fireplace (a selling point for our Winter wedding).

I was beyond lucky in the flower and cake department: My talented Friend Carol of Flying Little Birds created a couple lovely arrangements (Carol is an amazing event planner & florist) and my Sister in Law (who could run a garden center;) made gorgeous arrangements for our ceremony and even my bouquet. Our cake baked by my other talented Sister in Law (who could open a bakery;) was coconut in flavor and garnished with dried flower pieces - beautiful & delicious!

Jeffrey, my 1st Husband (we made it Facebook official 15 years ago) officiated the ceremony and we walked back down the aisle as guests popped (no mess) silver streamers - a delightful kickoff - and oh so grateful we are:)
