Leo's 1st Birthday

Leo was born in the spring one year ago this past April. In a Peter Rabbit themed party He celebrated his first year alongside Family and Friends surrounded by rabbits, carrots, and flowers. In Chinese culture it is tradition to have a Zhuahou ceremony where different objects are placed in front of the child for them to choose from. Each of these objects represents different professions and serves as a prediction for what he/she will gravitate towards later in life. Leo’s objects took the form of detailed LEGO pieces: a soccer player, a rock star, a doctor etc. As Leo set off on his Zhuazhou ceremony it was quite clear his chosen LEGO piece was the Judge -with the soccer player a close second:) From there it was onto the cake - which went over smashingly with the newly minted one year old!
